Extended Candidate Statement

I feel that this is a pivotal moment for the Fullerton Joint Union High School District board, and a true opportunity to "pass the baton" in leadership and gain a new and fresh perspective on the ever-changing landscape that lies ahead.

With over 10 years of hands-on leadership in school PTA's and PTSA's, over 25 years of operational management, and a lifetime of helping others achieve their individual goals in our community, I truly believe that I'm the person that will get the job done. As a community-connected parent with two students in Fullerton schools, I interact daily with families that are facing challenges. Through my PTA leadership, School Site Council involvement, volunteering, and work with educators, I have learned that strong schools are built through collaboration and trust.

As a trustee, I will support teachers, expand student opportunities by preparing them for college or the workforce, ensure our schools remain safe, and advocate for access to the mental health resources students need to thrive.

Serving my community is both a privilege and a responsibility.  I ask for your vote and support as we unite to build a stronger FJUHSD - one where every student can succeed and reach their full potential.
